Frequently Asked Questions

Are the New Balance 1906R slate blue dark navy black true to size?

The 1906R generally runs true to size, so you can order your normal sneaker size. Some people with wider feet prefer to go half a size up for a more relaxed fit. The slate blue, dark navy, and black colorway looks great with a variety of casual outfits.

How comfortable are the 1906R shoes for walking and standing all day?

The 1906R is praised for its comfort, featuring a cushioned midsole and a supportive heel counter. The combination of ACTEVA and N-ergy cushioning provides a responsive yet stable feel. Many users find them suitable for all-day wear without discomfort.

How do I style the slate blue and navy 1906R sneakers?

The muted blues and blacks make these 1906Rs easy to pair with jeans, joggers, or casual chinos. They also work well with earth tones like olive or beige, as the blue adds a cool contrast. For a monochrome look, try them with dark denim and a black or grey top.

What materials are used on the New Balance 1906R upper and how do I clean them?

The 1906R typically features a mix of leather, mesh, and synthetic overlays for durability and breathability. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, and use a soft brush for the mesh areas. Avoid submerging in water and let them air dry to maintain the slate blue and navy colors.

Is the 1906R a good everyday sneaker for someone who values both style and function?

Yes, the 1906R blends retro running aesthetics with modern comfort, making it a great everyday choice. It offers enough cushioning for daily activities while its sleek design pairs well with casual and smart-casual outfits. The durable construction means it will hold up well over time.
